Are you better off today than you were 8 years ago?

Thursday, July 17th, 2008

Nearly 8 years of George W. (the W standards for Worst) Bush has taken a huge toll on the middle class and working Americans.  The Wall Street Journal today discusses how educated middle class Americans are dealing with the collapse of their living standards.

Can America deal with another 8 years of failed Republican “trickle down” bullshit?  After 8 years of Bush W., and way too many recent years of  Republican executive leadership, its clear that Republicans are simply waging war on the middle class.  Their goal is to supress wages, deny benefits, and push off a disproportionate amount of the tax burden onto the middle class and their children.

Just look at the results:

Decline dollar value

Declining stock market

Two income families are the norm

Real wages have been supressed for decades

Social Security has been raided and inflation adjusted payouts to seniors wanes each year

It’s clear to us now: the Republican vision of America is one in which the rich get richer on the backs of the middle class. McCain will simply continue this proud Republican legacy.

Elitist Clinton ‘The Divider’ must leave the race.

Monday, April 14th, 2008

Clinton is still at it. Twisting a sentence out of context from a Barak Obama speech about a bitter white middle class, she once again shows why she absolutely leave this race.  She is out of material, now only able to invent non-issues out of non-comments.  Is this all she’s got?  Is this Clinton’s main issue?  Because it appears that her main contribution is not to discussing ideas, but rather to tear apart the Democratic party.

Clinton the divider will seize upon any opportunity to destroy a perceived enemy, right down to spewing lies and inventing non-existent issues. What Clinton is trying to do is destroy Obama, at any cost. In the process she is destroying her own already-failed candidacy, and the Democratic party.

This is why party elders must take her out, now.  John Edwards, get involved!  Al Gore and Jimmy Carter, step up!  Howard Dean, wake the hell up!

The truth is, the middle class is bitter.  And Hillary Clinton, already a confirmed elitist, is not our champion.

Meanwhile, John McCain rises in the polls.
