Amadinejad And the Sharp Edge of Free Speech

Amadinejad had has moment on stage. It was not the moment the “petty dicator” had dreamed of. But he had his moment.

Perhaps Bollinger was too hard on Amadinejad. Perhaps not. But it doesn’t really matter.  Both ‘Dinny’ ad Bollinger were heard. Free speech is not always friendly, nor is it always polite and coordial.

Ain’t that America.

Don’t be afraid of the speech you hear, especially when its spoken by those who are willing to take responsibility for it. Rather, be very afraid of the people who would prevent you from speaking or listening.

Free Speech is the most basic and cherished of American values.  Leave it alone!
